Here are the answers to some of your most frequently asked questions. Do I apply to my UK university before or after applying to Chevening? This will depend on the deadlines set by your chosen UK universities. To take up a Chevening Scholarship in 2024, you need to make sure you secure at least one unconditional UK university offer by the 11 July 2024 offer deadline. What type of references do I need for my Chevening application? You will need two referees. They can be known to you in a professional or academic capacity. They should not be a relative or personal friend. What counts towards the Chevening work experience requirement? You must have completed 2,800 hours of work experience. This can be full-time employment, part-time employment, remote work, voluntary work, or paid or unpaid internships. Applications to Chevening are open until 5 November 2024.
