California’s towering New Bullards Dam, like any aging infrastructure, demanded attention and innovation as the years passed. The Yuba Water Agency modernized its dam monitoring system with cutting-edge technology—a network of IoT sensors that provide over 1,000 more data monitoring points per week and real-time insights into the dynamic movements of the dam. The returns for Yuba Water have been substantial, with a significant reduction in risk exposure and an improvement of safety standards.
